| Q:
What is your favorite style? |
 |
| A: Minimalism
– less details and parts, but still keep it functional. |
 |
| Q: What design/work
of yours most reflects your style? |
 |
| A: The
TimeSphere Clock that I designed for MoMA captures the essence
of pure minimalist design. |
 |
| Q: What or who
has most influenced your work? |
 |
| A: I have
been fascinated by nature, the abstract, physics and new technologies.
Leonardo da Vinci was a real inspiration
since I was a young boy building kites. My educational training
studying Industrial Design has influenced
me as well as other designers’ works. Functional, simplicity,
yet detailed work are what appeals to me
and are reflected in my work. |
 |
| Q: What are examples
of art and design that you like and why? |
 |
| A: Eero
Aarnio’s Puppy and Trioli Chair for its simplicity,
abstract and functional design and the Philippe Stark lemon
squeezer for its sculpture-like design. |
